No free plan to start with. At sign-up you choose your trial, Barista or Professional, for 14 days, and how you pay after it. Until day 15 you can keep the plan, switch to the other or cancel. If you change nothing, the plan you tried starts; if you cancel, you move to Explore, free and limited.
How the trial works

Every feature of the plan. In My account you can switch Barista ↔ Professional or cancel, any time.
- Day 11Reminder
By email and in the app: “On [date] [plan] starts, [price]”. Keep it, change the plan or cancel.
- Day 15Payment starts
We charge the plan selected at that moment: the one you tried or the one you chose. The invoice comes by email.

Member prices include VAT. Paying yearly saves 10%. We ask for your card at sign-up; the price, the date of the first payment and how to cancel are shown clearly before you pay, and the reminder goes out 3 days before the 14-day trial ends.
Questions
Do I pay during the trial?
No. You add your card at sign-up, but the first payment is only on the day after the trial ends. We remind you 3 days before.
Can I change my plan or cancel?
Yes. During the trial, in My account: keep the plan, switch Barista ↔ Professional, or cancel at no cost. Afterwards you can cancel any time; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Within 14 days of your first payment you can ask for a full refund.
What is Explore?
Where you are without a plan, after a trial you cancelled: the simple simulator, one coffee from each roaster, the map and the community summary. Your extractions stay saved, read-only.
How do I pay?
By card, on Stripe's secure payment page. Visitors from Romania pay in lei, everyone else in euro; prices include VAT. Businesses can add their VAT number when they pay.
Is the simulator a measurement?
No. It is a guide based on a simplified model; the taste in the cup decides.
